Description

This Thermomix® recipe for poultry breast with mushroom-bell pepper sauce and mini-dumplings is a hearty main course with chicken breast fillet, mushrooms, bell peppers and mini-dumplings. Complemented by broccoli, it is a satisfying family meal, ideal for autumn. The preparation takes a total of 50 minutes, with the active working time being about 40 minutes. The recipe is designed for 4 servings.

  • 600 g Broccoli
  • Salt
  • 400 g Mini-dumplings
  • 2 Onions
  • 300 g Mushrooms
  • 2 red Bell pepper
  • 2 EL green Pepper in brine
  • 4 Chicken breast fillets
  • 2 EL Oil
  • Pepper
  • 1 EL Sweet paprika
  • 200 ml Vegetable broth
  • 200 g Whipping cream
  • 2 EL Cornstarch
  • 2 EL Butter
  • 0.5 Bund Chives

Preparation (11 steps)

Prepare broccoli

Clean, wash and divide 600 g broccoli into florets. Bring water to a boil with salt in a separate saucepan. Blanch the broccoli florets in it for about 2 minutes. Then drain and quench with cold water. Set aside.

Prepare mini-dumplings

Prepare a pack (400 g, 20 pieces) of mini-dumplings in a separate saucepan with boiling salted water according to the package instructions. Then drain and set aside.

Chop onions

Peel 2 onions, quarter them and place in the mixing bowl. Chop 3 sec./speed 5.

Sauté onions

Add 2 tbsp oil to the onions in the mixing bowl and sauté 3 min./120°C/speed 1.

Add mushrooms and bell pepper

Clean 300 g mushrooms and slice. Clean, wash and cut 2 red bell peppers into strips. Add both to the onions in the mixing bowl. Season with salt, pepper and 1 tbsp sweet paprika and sauté 5 min./120°C/speed 1.

Prepare sauce

Add 200 ml vegetable broth and 200 g whipping cream to the mixing bowl. Drain 2 tbsp green pepper in brine and add. Simmer 5 min./100°C/speed 2.

Thicken sauce

Stir 2 tbsp cornstarch with 3-4 tbsp cold water until smooth. Add to the mixing bowl and simmer while stirring 1 min./100°C/speed 2.

Fry meat

Wash and pat dry 4 chicken breast fillets (approx. 120 g each). Heat oil in a coated pan. Fry the fillets in it for about 5 minutes, turning occasionally. Season with salt and pepper. Remove and set aside.

Add meat to sauce

Add the fried chicken breast fillets to the sauce in the mixing bowl and heat 2 min./90°C/reverse rotation speed 1.

Toss dumplings and broccoli

Melt 2 tbsp butter in a pan. Toss the drained mini-dumplings and the blanched broccoli in it.

Arrange

Wash ½ bunch of chives, shake dry and cut into rolls. Arrange fillets, pepper cream, broccoli and dumplings on plates. Sprinkle with chives and serve.
