Description

These stuffed apples are a wonderful dessert, especially in the colder months. I like to make them when I have guests because they are so easy to prepare and still bring something special to the table. The combination of sweet raisins, crunchy almonds and aromatic honey, filled in juicy apples, is simply unbeatable. Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream - a poem! Preparation in the Thermomix® makes preparation much easier. Perfect for a festive Christmas dinner or a cozy brunch in the fall.

Ingredients (7 ingredients)

  • 4 piece Baking apples
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 50 g Flaked almonds
  • 50 g Raisins
  • 3 tsp Honey
  • 4 piece Vanilla ice cream
  • Lemon balm for decoration

Preparation (5 steps)

Prepare apples

Wash the apples and remove the cores with an apple corer. Then drizzle the apples with 2 tbsp of lemon juice and place in a baking dish.

Prepare filling

Thermomix® Setting

Put 50 g flaked almonds, 50 g raisins and 3 tsp honey into the mixing bowl and mix for 5 sec./speed 4.

Fill apples

Evenly fill the prepared filling into the apples.

Bake apples

Bake the stuffed apples in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 15 minutes until soft.

Arrange and Serve

Remove the baked apples from the oven and let them cool slightly. Then arrange each apple with a scoop of vanilla ice cream (approx. 50 g each) on a plate and garnish with lemon balm.
