Description

This dish of fish stuffed with vegetables and rice is a real taste journey! I often prepare it for special occasions because it is both tasty and impressive. The fish, delicately stuffed with fresh herbs and a hint of chili, is grilled to perfection. The vegetables, cooked in a fragrant broth, add a touch of sweetness and color. The rice, cooked in the same broth, is imbued with all the flavors. A complete and balanced dish, perfect for a festive meal or a friendly dinner. Feel free to vary the vegetables according to the season and your desires!

Ingredients (20 ingredients)

  • 4 piece fish
  • 500 g rice
  • 150 g parsley
  • 0.25 piece chili
  • 1 cube broth
  • 1 cube fish broth
  • 2 piece tomatoes
  • 2 piece eggplants
  • to taste Olive oil
  • 1 piece eggplant
  • 1 piece sweet potato
  • 1 piece red pepper
  • 1 piece cabbage
  • 1 piece turnip
  • 1 piece onion (large)
  • 4 piece carrots
  • 1 c. à c. tomato paste
  • 4 piece okras
  • to taste Salt or fine salt
  • to taste Pepper

Preparation (6 steps)

Chopped parsley and chili

Thermomix® Setting

Put 150 g of parsley and ¼ chili in the bowl and chop 5 Sec./Stufe 7.

Fish preparation

Open the 4 fish in half and stuff them with the chopped parsley-chili mixture. Set aside.

Cooking onions and tomatoes

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/248°F/Speed 1 120

Put 1 onion (large) cut into four in the bowl and chop 3 Sek./Stufe 5. Add a nice drizzle of olive oil and 2 tomatoes cut into quarters and cook 5 Min./120°C/Stufe 1.

Adding concentrate and broths

Add 1 tsp. of tomato paste, 1 cube of broth and 1 cube of fish broth in the bowl and mix 10 Sek./Stufe 3.

Cooking the vegetables

40 min/212°F/Speed 1/Linkslauf 100 Reverse

Add water up to the maximum mark on the bowl. Add all the peeled and chopped vegetables (2 eggplants, 1 eggplant, 1 sweet potato, 1 red pepper, 1 cabbage, 1 turnip, 4 carrots, 4 okras), salt and pepper. Cook 40 Min./100°C/Stufe 1/Linkslauf.

Cooking the rice

Thermomix® Setting
20 min/212°F/Speed 1/Linkslauf 100 Reverse

Remove the vegetables from the bowl and set aside. Add 500 g of rice in the bowl and cook 20 Min./100°C/Stufe 1/Linkslauf.
