Description
This Thermomix® recipe for toasted cheese bread is a hearty bread dish with cheddar and mozzarella. Preparation with the Thermomix® takes about 30 minutes and yields one portion. Ideal as a quick breakfast, finger food, or warm main course. The recipe is vegetarian and inexpensive.
Ingredients (4 ingredients)

2 Scheiben Bread - thickly sliced

2 tbsp Salted butter

40 g Grated cheddar

20 g Grated mozzarella
Preparation (4 steps)
Prepare bread
Cut the bread slices thickly. Place the butter in the mixing bowl and melt for 20 sec./50°C/speed 2. Spread the melted butter on all sides of the bread slices with a brush or knife.
Prepare cheese
Place the cheddar, Gruyère and mozzarella in the mixing bowl and chop for 5 sec./speed 5. Remove the chopped cheese from the mixing bowl and set aside.
Toast bread (Part 1)
Top a slice of bread with half of the chopped cheese. Place the second slice of bread on top. Place the filled bread in the mixing bowl and heat for 5 min./60°C/speed 1 to lightly melt the cheese.
Toast bread (Part 2)
Turn the sandwich and heat for another 5 min./60°C/speed 1 until the cheese is completely melted and the bread is lightly browned.
