Description

These golden rice fritters are a delicious and simple way to use up cooked rice that you have left over. The recipe is very easy to prepare with the Thermomix® and in a short time you will have an original and tasty appetizer or starter. The combination of rice with grated cheese and egg creates a soft texture inside and crispy outside. They are perfect for a weekend brunch or as a quick and inexpensive snack. If you like sweet flavors, you can sprinkle them with sugar after frying them. An ideal recipe for the whole family!

Ingredients (5 ingredients)

  • 4 tazas already cooked rice
  • 4 piece eggs
  • 8 tbsp grated hard white cheese
  • 0.5 cup oil
  • 0.5 cup sugar

Preparation (4 steps)

Mix the ingredients

In the Thermomix bowl, add 4 cups of cooked rice, 4 eggs and 8 tablespoons of grated hard white cheese. Mix for 15 sec./Speed 4.

Fry the fritters

Heat 0.5 cup of oil in a frying pan over medium heat. With a spoon, pour portions of the mixture into the hot pan and fry on both sides until golden brown. Do not use the Thermomix to fry.

Drain and serve

Remove the rice fritters from the oil and place them on absorbent paper to remove excess grease. Serve immediately.

Add sugar (optional)

If you want them sweet, sprinkle 0.5 cup of sugar on the fried rice fritters.
