Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 800 g Turkey goulash (from the lower leg or turkey breast)
  • 2 Stück Onions
  • 2 Stück Red bell peppers
  • 1 EL Clarified butter
  • 2 EL Tomato paste
  • 1 EL Sweet paprika powder
  • 500 ml Poultry stock
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 TL Sauce thickener (optional)

Prepare

Season 800g turkey goulash with salt and pepper. Cut 2 onions into thin strips. Cut 2 red bell peppers into cubes.

Sear meat

Heat 1 tbsp clarified butter in a large pan and sear the seasoned turkey goulash until nicely browned.

Sauté vegetables

Place the sliced onions in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 5. Add 1 tbsp clarified butter and sauté for 3 min./120°C/speed 1. Add the diced peppers and sauté for another 2 min./120°C/speed 1.

Simmer goulash

30-40 min/212°F/Gentle stir speed 212°F Reverse

Add the seared meat, 2 tbsp tomato paste, 1 tbsp sweet paprika powder, and 500 ml poultry stock to the mixing bowl. Simmer for 30-40 min./100°C/Reverse/speed 1 until the meat is tender.

Season the turkey goulash with salt and pepper to taste. Optionally, stir 2 tsp sauce thickener into a little water until smooth and add to the mixing bowl, then stir in for 1 min./100°C/speed 2.
