Description

This turkey goulash is a hearty and filling main course, perfect for the autumn season. It is gluten-free and lactose-free, making it suitable for people with corresponding intolerances. Preparation takes about 65 minutes and yields 4 servings. The dish is rich in protein and is great for lunch or dinner.

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 800 g Turkey goulash meat
  • 2 Stück Onions
  • 2 Stück Red bell peppers
  • 1 EL Clarified butter
  • 2 EL Tomato paste
  • 1 EL Sweet paprika powder
  • 500 ml Poultry stock
  • nach Geschmack Salt
  • nach Geschmack Pepper
  • 2 TL Sauce thickener

Preparation (5 steps)

Prepare onions and peppers

Season 800 g of turkey goulash meat with salt and pepper. Peel and halve 2 onions and place in the mixing bowl. Chop for 3 sec./Stufe 5. Wash, core and dice 2 red bell peppers.

Sauté onions

Thermomix® Setting

Add 1 tbsp of clarified butter to the mixing bowl and sauté for 3 min./120°C/Stufe 1.

Sear meat

Heat clarified butter in a large pan and sear the meat well. When the meat is nicely browned, add the onions and peppers and sauté briefly.

Add tomato paste and paprika powder

Stir in tomato paste and paprika powder and roast briefly. Then deglaze everything with poultry stock. Bring to a boil and simmer, covered, over low to medium heat for 30 - 40 minutes, until the meat is tender.

Season and thicken goulash

Season turkey goulash with salt and pepper. Optionally, stir sauce thickener in some water until smooth and stir in.
