Description

This hearty potato goulash from the Thermomix® is a simple and inexpensive main course for the whole family. With ingredients like potatoes, onions, and paprika, a filling soup is created in about 60 minutes (30 minutes of active time). The recipe is designed for 4 servings. Ideal for quick cooking and anyone who loves savory potato dishes.

Ingredients (15 ingredients)

  • 1 Stück large onion
  • 2 Stück cloves of garlic
  • 6 Stück medium potatoes
  • 1 EL Butter (or margarine)
  • 2 EL sweet paprika
  • 700 ml clear broth
  • 1 TL caraway seeds
  • 1 Prise Salt
  • 1 Prise Pepper
  • 1 Stück bay leaf
  • 1 Prise marjoram
  • 2 EL Flour
  • 3 EL Sour cream
  • 2 EL Tomato paste
  • 2 Paar Frankfurter sausages

Preparation (8 steps)

Chop onion

Peel and quarter the onion. Place in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 5.

Sauté onion

Add butter (or margarine) to the onions in the mixing bowl and sauté for 3 min./120°C/speed 1.

Chop garlic

Peel the garlic cloves, place in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 7.

Prepare potatoes

Peel the potatoes. Place the WunderSlicer V2 on the mixing bowl lid and slice the potatoes with the coarse disc. Collect the sliced potatoes.

Prepare goulash base

20 min/212°F/Speed 1 212°F

Add potato slices, sweet paprika, clear broth, caraway seeds, salt, pepper, bay leaf, marjoram and flour to the mixing bowl. Cook for 20 min./100°C/speed 1.

Fry sausage

Fry Frankfurter sausages (or other smoked sausages or vegetarian sausages) in a separate pan.

Finish goulash

Add sour cream and tomato paste to the mixing bowl and stir in for 5 min./90°C/Reverse speed 1. Add the fried sausages and heat for another 2 min./90°C/Reverse speed 1.
