Description

These gourmet open sandwiches with meat and vegetables are a quick and tasty solution for an impromptu lunch or dinner. I love preparing this recipe when I don't have a lot of time, but I want a comforting and flavorful dish. The combination of ground meat, peppers, onions and tomato sauce, all au gratin with cheese, is simply irresistible. You can easily adapt the vegetables according to your preferences and what you have on hand. It's a great way to use up leftovers and create a delicious meal in no time. Perfect for a meal with family or friends!

Ingredients (7 ingredients)

  • 2 piece Ground beef
  • 4 slice Sandwich bread
  • 1 piece Red pepper(s)
  • 0.5 piece Onion(s)
  • Tomato sauce
  • Grated cheese
  • Butter

Preparation (7 steps)

Preparing the vegetables

Cut the red pepper in half, remove the seeds and cut into strips. Cut the half onion into thin strips.

Chop the onion

Sauté the onion

Add a little butter to the bowl and sauté 3 min/120°C/speed 1.

Add the pepper

Add the red pepper cut into strips to the bowl and cook 5 min/120°C/speed 1.

Mix the meat and vegetables

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 3/Linkslauf Reverse

Add the crumbled ground meat, tomato sauce, pepper and salt to the bowl. Mix 20 sec/speed 3/left rotation.

Preparing the open sandwiches

Arrange the mixture on the slices of sandwich bread. Add the grated cheese on top.

Gratin the open sandwiches

Put the open sandwiches in the oven for a few minutes at 180°C to melt the cheese.
