Description

This vegetable bake is a comforting and tasty dish, perfect for autumn or winter evenings. I often prepare it with seasonal vegetables that I find at the market: courgettes, carrots, mushrooms... A real delight! The cream and eggs provide an incomparable smoothness, while the browned cheese and breadcrumbs add a crispy touch. Feel free to vary the vegetables according to your tastes and add aromatic herbs for more flavor. This bake is ideal for a meal with family or friends, and it reheats very well the next day. A simple, economical and flavorful dish!

Ingredients (14 ingredients)

  • 1 piece Onion
  • 1 piece Courgette
  • 2 piece Carrot
  • 100 g Mushroom
  • Garlic
  • 20 cl Liquid cream
  • 3 piece Egg
  • Butter
  • Grated cheese
  • Sausage
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Nutmeg
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Preparation (8 steps)

Vegetable preparation

Cut the onion into strips. Mince the garlic. Grate the courgette and carrots. Cut the mushrooms into slices. Set aside.

Cooking the onion and garlic

Put a little fat in a frying pan and melt. Add the minced onion and garlic and cook until translucent. Set aside.

Cooking the vegetables

Add the grated courgette and carrots to the pan and simmer for 5 minutes. Add salt, pepper and nutmeg. Add the mushrooms and simmer for another 5 minutes. Set aside.

Preparation of the egg cream

In a bowl, whisk the eggs and liquid cream with salt and pepper. Set aside.

Mixing vegetables and sausages

In a salad bowl, mix the vegetable preparation with the diced sausages. Mix everything together well.

Assembly of the bake

Butter a gratin dish. Put the vegetable and sausage preparation in the dish. Add the egg cream.

Adding cheese and breadcrumbs

Mix the grated cheese with the breadcrumbs. Sprinkle the bake with this mixture.

Baking in the oven

Put the bake in the oven preheated to 180°C for 15 minutes, or until golden brown and browned.
