Description

This high-protein ground meat roll with cheese sauce, prepared in the Thermomix®, is a delicious low-carb finger food with Skyr, cheese, and eggs. Refined with pizza spice and filled with pickled cucumbers, onions, and garlic, it is ideal as a snack or party appetizer. Preparation takes about 50 minutes, including 30 minutes of work, and yields 4 servings. Perfect for those looking for a light and high-protein meal.

Ingredients (19 ingredients)

  • 250 g Skyr
  • 100 g grated Cheese
  • 3 Eggs (Size M)
  • 1 TL Pizza spice
  • 2 Pickled cucumbers
  • 0.5 Onion
  • 1 Zehe Garlic
  • 4 EL Mayonnaise
  • 1 EL Ketchup
  • 1 TL Mustard
  • 0.5 TL White wine vinegar
  • 1 TL Olive oil
  • 150 g Ground beef
  • 0.25 Cucumber
  • 1 Tomato
  • 2 Scheiben Processed cheese (Cheddar)
  • 4 Lettuce leaves
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Preparation (7 steps)

Prepare dough

Thermomix® Setting

Add 250g Skyr, 100g grated cheese, 3 eggs and 1 tsp pizza spice to the mixing bowl and stir for 15 sec/level 4.

Bake dough

Place the mixture on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C top and bottom heat for 20 minutes.

Chop onions for the ground meat

Put 1/2 onion in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec/level 5.

Fry ground meat

Add the chopped onion to a pan with 1 tsp olive oil and sauté. Add 150g ground beef and fry vigorously. Season with salt and pepper.

Prepare dressing

Put 2 pickled cucumbers, 1/2 onion and 1 clove of garlic in the mixing bowl and chop for 5 sec/level 5. Add 4 tbsp mayonnaise, 1 tbsp ketchup, 1 tsp mustard, 1/2 tsp white wine vinegar, salt and pepper and stir for 10 sec/level 3.

Cut vegetables

Cut 2 pickled cucumbers and 1/4 cucumber into slices. Halve 1 tomato and cut into slices. Wash 4 lettuce leaves and cut into small pieces.

Assemble and bake roll (optional)

Remove the dough from the oven and spread with the dressing. Top with ground meat, 2 slices of processed cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers and lettuce. Roll the topped dough into a roll and cut into slices. Optional: The rolls can be briefly heated in the oven to melt the cheese.
