Description

This oriental style lemon chicken is a dish I often prepare at home. The combination of tender chicken with the sweet and sour lemon sauce is simply delicious. It is a very simple recipe to make, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or to surprise your guests with an exotic touch. The sauce, with its perfect balance between the sweetness of the sugar and the acidity of the lemon, makes this dish irresistible. Go ahead and try it, you're sure to love it! It is prepared in a short time and is ideal to accompany with white rice.

Ingredients (7 ingredients)

  • 2 piece Chicken breast
  • 2 piece Lemon
  • 2 cucharadas Cornstarch
  • Sunflower oil
  • 2 cucharadas Sugar
  • 100 ml Chicken broth
  • 50 ml Soy sauce

Preparation (5 steps)

Prepare the lemon juice and slices

Cut three thin slices of lemon and reserve. Squeeze the rest of the two lemons to obtain the juice. Reserve the juice.

Cook the lemon sauce

In the Thermomix glass, add the lemon juice, sugar, chicken broth and cornstarch. Program 8 Min./100°C/Speed 2. Add the lemon slices and program 2 Min./100°C/Speed 1.

Fry the chicken

Cut the chicken breasts into small pieces. Heat sunflower oil in a frying pan and fry the chicken until it is golden and cooked inside. Remove the chicken from the pan and place it on absorbent paper to remove excess oil.

Serve

Pour the lemon sauce over the fried chicken and serve immediately. It can be accompanied with white rice.
