Das saftige Schweinefleisch, kombiniert mit dem rauchigen Speck und dem schmelzenden Cheddar, ist einfach unschlagbar. Die Zubereitung ist super einfach und schnell, sodass man mehr Zeit mit seinen Gästen verbringen kann. Serviert mit frischem Salat, Tomaten, Gurken, Mayonnaise und Senf – ein wahrer Genuss! Wer es etwas schärfer mag, kann noch etwas mehr Hot Sauce hinzufügen.

Ingredients (13 ingredients)

  • 2 pound Fresh Ground Pork
  • 2 tablespoon minced yellow onion
  • 2 teaspoon hot sauce
  • Kosher salt
  • Fresh cracked black pepper
  • 8 strips Hickory Smoked Bacon, cooked crisp and cut in half
  • 8 slice thick sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 4 piece brioche buns, split horizontally
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato
  • Pickles
  • Mayonnaise
  • Yellow mustard

Onion preparation

Add 2 tablespoons of minced yellow onion to the mixing bowl and chop for 3 seconds / level 5.

Mixing the burger mixture

Thermomix® Setting

Add 2 pounds of ground pork, 2 teaspoons of hot sauce, kosher salt and fresh cracked black pepper to the mixing bowl and mix for 20 seconds / level 3.

Forming the burgers

Remove the mixture from the mixing bowl and shape into 4 (8-oz.) burgers; season with salt and pepper on both sides.

Grilling the burgers

Heat charcoal or gas grill to medium. Grill burgers until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F., turning after 8 minutes. Place 2 slices cheese on top of each burger to melt.

Toasting the buns

Lightly toast brioche buns on grill, being careful not to burn.

Assembling the burgers

Place pork burgers on buns; top each with 4 half strips of bacon. Serve with lettuce, tomato, pickles, mayonnaise and mustard on the side.
