Description

These hazelnut shortcrust pastry cookies from the Thermomix® are a delicious finger food or dessert, ideal for the Christmas season. The main ingredients are sugar, butter, eggs, wheat flour and ground hazelnuts, refined with dark chocolate coating. The preparation takes a total of 100 minutes, of which 25 minutes are active working time, and yields about 40 cookies. The recipe is perfect for anyone who enjoys baking and loves Christmas cookies with hazelnut and chocolate.

Ingredients (7 ingredients)

  • 200 g Sugar
  • 200 g soft Butter
  • 1 Prise(n) Salt
  • 2 Stück Eggs
  • 400 g Wheat Flour Type 405
  • 100 g ground Hazelnuts
  • 150 g Bittersweet Chocolate Coating

Preparation (7 steps)

Mix sugar, butter and salt until frothy

Put 200 g sugar, 200 g soft butter and 1 pinch of salt into the mixing bowl and mix for 2 min./speed 4 until frothy.

Stir in eggs

Add 2 eggs and stir in for 20 sec./speed 3.

Mix and knead in flour and hazelnuts

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/Kneading speed

Add 400 g wheat flour type 405 and 100 g ground hazelnuts and knead for 2 min./kneading stage to form a dough.

Chill dough

Form the dough into a ball, wrap in cling film and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.

Cut out and bake cookies

Roll out the dough thinly on a floured work surface and cut out cookies with a cookie cutter. Place on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C top and bottom heat for 12-15 minutes.

Melt coating

4 min/122°F/Speed 2 50

Put 150 g dark chocolate coating in pieces into the mixing bowl and melt for 4 min./50°C/speed 2.

Decorate cookies

Place the melted coating on the cooled cookies and decorate as desired. Let the coating harden.
