Description

This homemade chocolate liqueur from the Thermomix® is a festive drink with cream, dark chocolate, and a hint of honey. Refined with vodka and rum, it is ideal as a dessert or winter drink. Preparation takes 20 minutes, and chilling takes about 30 hours. The recipe yields approximately 10 servings and is perfect for special occasions or as a Christmas gift.

  • 200 ml Cream
  • 200 ml Milk
  • 150 g Dark chocolate
  • 50 g Cocoa powder
  • 75 g Honey
  • 100 ml Vodka
  • 50 ml White rum

Preparation (5 steps)

Heat cream and milk

Add 200 ml cream and 200 ml milk to the mixing bowl and heat for 5 min./90°C/speed 2.

Melt chocolate

Add 150 g dark chocolate in pieces and melt for 3 min./50°C/speed 2 while stirring. Scrape down the sides with the spatula.

Mix cocoa and honey

Thermomix® Setting
1 min/Speed 3

Add 50 g cocoa powder and 75 g honey and mix for 1 min./speed 3 until a homogeneous mixture is formed. Scrape down the sides with the spatula.

Add alcohol

Thermomix® Setting
30 sec/Speed 2

Add 100 ml vodka and 50 ml white rum and stir in for 30 sec./speed 2.

Bottle and Cool

Pour the finished liqueur into sterilized glass bottles and seal tightly. Let cool slowly.
