This crispy baked chicken thighs recipe is a family favorite! I've been making it for years, and it's always a hit. The chicken is coated in a flavorful breadcrumb mixture and baked to golden perfection. It's a simple and satisfying meal that's perfect for a weeknight dinner or a casual gathering. Ingredients (7 ingredients)

  • 12 piece chicken thighs, patted dry
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs
  • 3 piece eggs
  • 0.5 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp paprika

Preparation (6 steps)

Prepare the flour mixture

Place the all-purpose flour in a shallow plate or bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste. No Thermomix settings are needed for this step.

Prepare the breadcrumb mixture

Put the Italian seasoned bread crumbs in another shallow plate or bowl. No Thermomix settings are needed for this step.

Prepare the egg wash

Beat the eggs in another bowl. No Thermomix settings are needed for this step.

Coat the chicken

Dredge each chicken thigh piece by piece in the flour, then the egg, then the bread crumbs, until all pieces are coated. No Thermomix settings are needed for this step.

Prepare the baking dish

Pour the vegetable oil into a large baking dish. Add the breaded chicken thighs and sprinkle with paprika to taste. No Thermomix settings are needed for this step.

Bake the chicken

Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, then turn pieces over and bake for another 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and drain on paper towels. No Thermomix settings are needed for this step.
