Description

Prepare hearty liver loaf rolls for 4 servings in just 30 minutes with the Thermomix®. This simple recipe combines liver loaf, gherkins, and roasted onions in crispy pretzel rolls. Ideal as a quick main course, finger food for parties, or for a hearty treat in between. The preparation is inexpensive and requires only a few ingredients. Ingredients (12 ingredients)

  • 4 piece Lettuce leaves
  • 1 piece Large gherkin
  • 4 Scheiben Liver loaf
  • 150 g Liver loaf
  • 2 tbsp Clarified butter
  • 4 piece Pretzel rolls
  • 150 g Coleslaw
  • 4 tbsp Roasted onions
  • 100 g Sweet mustard
  • 1 tbsp Plain yogurt
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Preparation (4 steps)

Prepare mustard-yogurt dressing

Thermomix® Setting

Put 100 g sweet mustard and 1 tbsp plain yogurt into the mixing bowl and mix for 10 sec/speed 3. Season with salt and pepper.

Prepare lettuce and cucumber

Wash 4 lettuce leaves and spin dry. Drain 150 g coleslaw in a sieve. Cut 1 large gherkin lengthwise into slices.

Fry liver loaf

Heat 2 tbsp clarified butter in a pan and fry 4 slices of liver loaf (150 g each) from each side for 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Then remove from the pan and set aside.

Top the rolls

Cut open 4 pretzel rolls and spread the cut surfaces with the prepared mustard-yogurt cream. Top the bottom half with lettuce leaves, cucumber slices, fried liver loaf, coleslaw and 4 tbsp roasted onions. Fold the rolls together and serve.
