Description

These savory cauliflower bites are an absolute hit at any party! I always like to make them because they are so easy and quick to prepare. The cauliflower is turned in a spicy batter and then breaded until crispy. They taste particularly delicious with a creamy garlic dip. If you like it a little spicier, you can of course use more chili sauce. The cauliflower bites are vegan and therefore suitable for everyone. Perfect as a snack in between meals or as a side dish for grilling!

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 40 g Flour
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Paprika powder, mild
  • 0.5 tsp Onion granules
  • 0.5 tsp Garlic powder
  • 40 ml Chili sauce
  • 40 ml Cooking cream vegan
  • 300 g Cauliflower florets
  • 100 g Panko or breadcrumbs
  • BBQ sauce of your choice for brushing

Preparation (4 steps)

1

Prepare breading

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Speed 3

Put 40 g flour, 0.5 tsp salt, 0.5 tsp paprika powder, mild, 0.5 tsp onion granules and 0.5 tsp garlic powder into the mixing bowl and mix for 10 sec/speed 3. Then add 40 ml chili sauce and 40 ml vegan cooking cream and mix for another 10 sec/speed 3. If the breading seems too thick, dilute with a little water.

Bread cauliflower

Put 300 g cauliflower florets in a bowl and pour the prepared breading over them. Mix everything thoroughly together so that the cauliflower florets are completely covered. Then bread the cauliflower florets with 100 g panko or breadcrumbs.

3

Bake cauliflower

Place the breaded cauliflower florets in an air fryer (not too many - they should not lie on top of each other) and bake at 180 °C for 15 minutes.

4

Finalize and Serve

Brush the baked cauliflower florets with some BBQ sauce of your choice and serve with garlic dressing.
