Description

This hearty vegetable stew with ground meat, prepared in the Thermomix®, is a hearty main course for the whole family. With ground meat, potatoes, leek and carrots, it is rich in vegetables and very filling. Preparation takes about 45 minutes and yields 4 servings. Ideal for the cold season or as a warming lunch.

Ingredients (13 ingredients)

  • 500 g Ground meat, mixed
  • 500 g Potatoes, waxy
  • 500 g Leek
  • 400 g Carrots
  • 750 ml Vegetable broth
  • 150 g Cream cheese, double cream level
  • 2 Stück Onions
  • 2 Zehen Garlic
  • 2 EL Vegetable oil
  • 2 TL Paprika powder, mild
  • nach Geschmack Salt
  • nach Geschmack Pepper
  • Parsley, fresh

Preparation (9 steps)

Prepare vegetables

Wash, peel and dice the potatoes and carrots (potatoes approx. 1 cm, carrots approx. 0.5 cm). Clean, wash and cut the leek into fine rings. Peel the garlic cloves and peel the onions and cut into half rings. Set the vegetables aside.

Chop onions

Put the onions in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 5. Use the spatula to push down.

Sauté onions

3 min/248°F/Speed 1 120

Add 1 tbsp vegetable oil to the onions in the mixing bowl and sauté for 3 min./120°C/speed 1.

Chop garlic

Thermomix® Setting
3 sec/Speed 7

Add the garlic cloves to the onions in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 7. Use the spatula to push down.

Fry ground meat

Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a large pan and fry the ground meat in it over high heat until crumbly. Season with a pinch of salt. Add the onion-garlic mixture from the Thermomix to the ground meat in the pan, season with paprika powder and sauté briefly.

Sauté vegetables

Put the fried ground meat with the onion-garlic mixture into the mixing bowl. Add the chopped potatoes, leek and carrots and sauté for 3 min./120°C/speed 1 in reverse.

Add vegetable broth

Thermomix® Setting
20 min/212°F/Speed 1 100 Reverse

Add the vegetable broth to the mixing bowl and simmer with the lid on for 20 min./100°C/speed 1 in reverse.

Stir in cream cheese

Thermomix® Setting
1 min/140°F/Speed 2 60 Reverse

Add the cream cheese to the mixing bowl and stir in for 1 min./60°C/speed 2 in reverse.

Season and serve

Thermomix® Setting
1 min/212°F/Speed 1 100 Reverse

Season the vegetable stew with salt, pepper and paprika powder and bring to the boil again for 1 min./100°C/speed 1 in reverse. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.
