Description

This homemade teriyaki sauce is a real treasure in the kitchen! I often prepare it to accompany grilled vegetables, tofu or even as a glaze for salmon. The combination of soy sauce, mirin, sake and sugar creates a perfect balance between sweet and savory, with a thick and glossy texture that makes every dish special. The preparation is very simple and quick, perfect for those who have little time but do not want to give up taste. It keeps well in the refrigerator for several days, ready to use. Try it, you won't regret it!

Ingredients (4 ingredients)

  • 100 g white sugar
  • 200 ml soy sauce
  • 200 ml mirin
  • 200 ml sake

Preparation of the ingredients

Pour 100 g of white sugar, 200 ml of soy sauce, 200 ml of mirin and 200 ml of sake into the Thermomix bowl.

Cooking the sauce

30 min/212°F/Speed 2 100

Cook for 30 Min./100°C/Speed 2, without the measuring cup, making sure that the sauce is reduced by about half. Use the spatula to gently stir from time to time.

Cooling and storage

Transfer the teriyaki sauce into sterilized jars and let it cool completely before using. The sauce will thicken as it cools.
