Description

Hilda cookies are a classic Christmas pastry that is easy to prepare with the Thermomix®. The cookies consist mainly of flour, butter, egg, sugar and raspberry jam. The preparation time is a total of 120 minutes, of which 45 minutes are active working time. The recipe yields about 35 servings and is ideal as finger food or dessert for festive occasions and the Christmas season.

  • 350 g Flour
  • 1 piece Egg
  • 200 g Butter
  • 175 g Sugar
  • 1 packet Lemon aroma
  • 200 g Raspberry jam
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Prepare flour

Sift the flour into the mixing bowl.

Prepare dough

Thermomix® Setting

Add butter in flakes, sugar and lemon flavor to the flour in the mixing bowl. Knead with the Meistermix Patix dough knife for 2 min./kneading stage to a smooth, compact dough.

Cool dough

Wrap the dough in cling film and let it rest in the refrigerator for at least one hour.

Cut out cookies

Roll out the dough on a floured work surface and cut out round cookies. Cut out a hole in the middle of half of the cookies.

Bake cookies

Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C for 10-15 minutes.

Let cookies cool

After the baking time, remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on a wire rack.

Fill cookies

Stir the raspberry jam until smooth, spread it on the whole cookies and cover with a cookie ring.

Dust cookies

Dust the Hilda cookies with powdered sugar and store in a cookie tin until ready to eat.
