Description

This chicken curry soup from the Thermomix® is a hearty main course with chicken breast fillet, curry, mushrooms and broth. Preparation takes about 50 minutes and yields 4 servings. Ideal for lovers of Asian cuisine and as a warming meal. The recipe is inexpensive and easy to prepare.

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 2 kg Chicken breast fillet(s) or turkey breast
  • 10 EL Oil
  • 10 EL Flour
  • 8 TL Curry
  • 4 Liter Broth
  • 5 Stück Clove(s) of garlic
  • 10 Stück small Onion(s) or 3 sweet onions
  • 2 kg Mushrooms
  • 400 g Crème fraîche
  • Salt and pepper, freshly ground

Preparation (9 steps)

Prepare meat

Cut meat into cubes, season with pepper and salt. Fry the meat in portions in a separate pan. Place the fried meat in a bowl.

Prepare mushrooms

Clean, quarter and fry the mushrooms in a separate pan. Place the mushrooms in a bowl as well.

Chop onions and garlic

Place onions in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 5. Add garlic and chop for 3 sec./speed 7.

Sauté onions and garlic

Add oil to the onions and garlic in the mixing bowl and sauté for 3 min./120°C/speed 1.

Add flour and curry

Mix flour and curry, sprinkle finely over the sautéed onions and sauté with them for 1 min./120°C/speed 1.

Add broth and bring to the boil

Top up with hot broth and bring to the boil for 10 min./100°C/speed 2. Stir quickly with a whisk so that no lumps form.

Add meat and mushrooms

Add the fried meat and mushrooms and stir in for 5 min./100°C/reverse/speed 1.

Add crème fraîche and simmer

20 min/194°F/Linkslauf/Speed 1 194°F Reverse

Add crème fraîche, stir and simmer everything for 20 minutes/90°C/reverse/speed 1 with occasional stirring.

Finally, season again with salt and pepper.
