Description

This summer pasta salad with chicken is a real ray of sunshine on a plate! I often prepare it for picnics or quick lunches in the summer. The pasta, grilled chicken, juicy cherry tomatoes, and sun-drenched dried tomatoes go perfectly together. Fresh basil adds an irresistible touch of freshness. A little grated Gruyère for indulgence and you're done! It is a complete, balanced and flavorful salad, perfect for a light and tasty meal. Feel free to vary the vegetables according to your desires and the season. A real delight!

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 200 g Pennes
  • 2 piece Chicken scallop
  • 1 piece Cherry tomato
  • 4 piece Dried tomato
  • 1 piece Lemon
  • 1 bouquet Basil
  • 80 g Grated Gruyère
  • 2 c. à soupe Olive oil
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Pepper

Preparation (9 steps)

Chicken in pieces

Cut the chicken scallops into pieces of approximately 2 cm.

Cooking the chicken

In a frying pan, heat 1 tbsp of olive oil. Add the chicken pieces, salt and pepper. Cook until golden brown and cooked through. Set aside.

Cooking the pasta

Pour 1 liter of water into the Thermomix bowl. Add a pinch of salt. Place the simmering basket in the bowl and weigh out 200 g of pennes.

Cook the pasta for 12 minutes at 100°C, speed 4.

Drain and cool the pasta

Drain the pasta and run it under cold water to stop cooking and prevent it from sticking. Set aside.

Preparation of the tomatoes

Cut the cherry tomatoes in half. Cut the 4 dried tomatoes into small pieces.

Mixing the ingredients

In a salad bowl, mix the cooled pasta, cooked chicken, cherry tomatoes, dried tomatoes and chopped fresh basil.

Seasoning

Season with 1 tbsp of olive oil, salt, pepper to your liking and the juice of one lemon. Mix well.

Adding the Gruyère

Lightly sprinkle the salad with grated Gruyère before serving.
