Description

This sweet and sour chicken salad is an explosion of fresh and contrasting flavors! Perfect for a light lunch or summer dinner, it combines the delicacy of chicken breast with the crunchiness of almonds and the vivacity of fresh vegetables. The addition of sweet and sour dressing gives a special touch that enhances each ingredient. I often prepare it when I have guests for dinner, because it is quick to make and always appreciated. A delicious idea to bring a healthy and tasty dish to the table, rich in protein and vitamins. Also ideal for those following a balanced diet!

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 800 g thinly sliced chicken breast
  • 1 piece carrots
  • 1 q.b. lamb's lettuce
  • 1 q.b. cherry tomatoes
  • 1 q.b. radishes
  • 1 q.b. peeled almonds
  • 1 q.b. sweet and sour dressing
  • 1 q.b. fine salt

Preparation of the carrots

Thermomix® Setting

Cut the carrot into small pieces and insert it into the bowl. Chop for 3 Sec./Level 5.

Salad preparation

In a large bowl, combine the lamb's lettuce, the halved cherry tomatoes, the thinly sliced radishes, and the chopped carrot. Add fine salt to taste and season with sweet and sour dressing to taste. Mix gently to distribute the dressing.

Cutting the chicken breast

Cut the grilled chicken breast slices into strips of approximately the same thickness.

Chopping the almonds

Insert the peeled almonds into the bowl and chop for 5 Sec./Level 5. Do not chop too finely.

Assembling the salad

Arrange the salad on a serving plate, add the chicken breast strips on top, and finally the chopped almonds. To further flavor, pour a little more sweet and sour dressing to taste, which will also give the dish a delicious aroma.
