Description

This herb-crusted chicken breast recipe is a simple and delicious way to enjoy a healthy and flavorful meal. I've been making this for my family for years, and it's always a hit! Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 4 piece chicken breasts
  • 0.5 tbsp rapeseed oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1.5 tsp garlic granules
  • 1 tsp smoked sweet paprika
  • 2 tsp mixed herbs
  • 0.5 tsp pepper
  • steamed rice

Preparation (3 steps)

Seasoning Preparation

In a small bowl, combine 1 tsp salt, 1 ½ tsp garlic granules, 1 tsp smoked sweet paprika, ½ tsp pepper and 2 tsp mixed herbs. Mix well and set aside.

Chicken Coating

Place the seasoning mixture on a plate. Brush 4 chicken breasts with ½ tbsp rapeseed oil. Roll each chicken breast in the seasoning mixture, ensuring it is evenly coated.

Steaming the Chicken

Thermomix® Setting
20 min/Varoma/Speed 1 Varoma

Place 500 ml of water into the mixing bowl. Place the seasoned chicken breasts into the Varoma dish. Place the Varoma dish on top of the mixing bowl and steam for 20 Min./Varoma/Stufe 1. Check the chicken is cooked through. If not, steam for a further 5 minutes.
