Description

This Emperor's Mess is a delicious dessert or breakfast that can be easily prepared with the Thermomix®. The preparation time is about 40 minutes and the recipe is designed for 4 servings. The Emperor's Mess is ideal for brunch or as a sweet main course.

Ingredients (7 ingredients)

80 Gramm Sugar
6 Stück Eggs separated
1 Prise Salt
370 Gramm Milk
180 Gramm Flour
Butter for the pan
50 Gramm Raisins optional

Preparation (6 steps)

Pulverize sugar

Thermomix® Setting

10 sec/Speed 10

Put 40 g of sugar into the mixing bowl and pulverize for 10 sec./level 10. Transfer.

Whisk egg whites

Thermomix® Setting

5 min/Speed 3

Insert the stirring attachment! Add 6 pieces of egg white separately with 1 pinch of salt into the mixing bowl and whisk for 5 min./level 3 to form stiff egg whites. Transfer.

Mix dough

30 sec/Speed 4

Remove the stirring attachment! Add 370 g milk, 6 pieces of egg yolk, the remaining 40 g of sugar and 180 g of flour and mix for 30 sec./level 4.

Stir in egg whites

45 sec/Speed 3

Add egg whites and stir in for approx. 45 sec./level 3 with the help of the spatula.

Bake dough

Heat some butter in the pan, add dough about 1 cm thick and sprinkle with part of the 50 g raisins. When the dough sets, turn it over, tear it into bite-sized pieces with two forks and bake until done.
