Description

These cocoa flowers are darker than classic Spitzbuben and at least as good. The recipe yields about 50 pieces and is ideal for the Christmas season. Preparation takes about 2 hours, including cooling time. The cookies are filled with raspberry jam and decorated with cocoa glaze.

Ingredients (5 ingredients)

  • 280 g Flour
  • 30 g Bitter cocoa
  • 100 g Powdered sugar
  • 200 g Butter
  • 1 piece Egg

Prepare dough

Thermomix® Setting

Put 280 g flour, 30 g bitter cocoa, 100 g powdered sugar, 200 g butter and 1 egg into the mixing bowl and process for 2 min./kneading setting into a smooth dough.

Cool dough

Place the dough in the refrigerator for a few hours.

Roll out dough and cut out cookies

Roll out the dough to approx. 3 mm thick and cut out cookies.

Bake cookies

Place the cut out cookies on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake at 180°C top/bottom heat for 8 minutes.

Fill and decorate cookies

Fill the cooled cookies with raspberry jam and decorate with cocoa glaze.
