Description

This cheese leek soup with ground meat is a hearty main course that can be prepared in about 20 minutes. The soup is ideal for the winter season and warms you from the inside. It is easy to prepare and is great for the whole family. Served with fresh baguette, it is a delicious and filling dish.

Ingredients (13 ingredients)

  • 2 Stück Baguette(s) for baking
  • 3 EL Oil
  • 500 g Ground meat, mixed
  • 3 Stange/n Leek
  • 700 ml Water
  • 3 Stück Vegetable broth cubes
  • 250 g Processed cheese
  • 1 Becher Crème fraîche
  • Salt
  • Pepper from the mill
  • Nutmeg
  • Garlic powder
  • Onion powder

Preparation (9 steps)

Prepare baguettes

Preheat the oven to 175 °C top/bottom heat. Place the baguettes in the preheated oven and bake for approx. 10 minutes.

Brown ground meat

Add 3 tbsp oil to a large saucepan. Brown 500 g ground meat, mixed, well on all sides in a separate pan and season with salt and pepper.

Prepare leek

Clean 3 leeks, cut into small rings and add to the browned 500 g ground meat.

Sauté leek

Sauté the leek for approx. 5 minutes.

Cook soup

Pour in 700 ml water, add 3 vegetable broth cubes and simmer everything over low heat for approx. 10 minutes.

Melt cheese

Stir in 250 g processed cheese and let it melt.

Refine soup

Thermomix® Setting

Mix in 1 carton of crème fraîche (approx. 150 g) and bring to a boil again briefly.

Season soup

Season the soup vigorously with salt, pepper from the mill, nutmeg, garlic and onion powder.

Serve

Cut the baguettes into slices and serve with the soup.
