Description

Meatballs in a creamy mushroom sauce

Ingredients (13 ingredients)

  • 500 g Ground meat
  • 100 g Onions
  • 1 TL Mustard
  • 0.5 TL Celery salt
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 100 g Onions
  • 1 Stück Clove of garlic
  • 20 g Oil
  • 250 g Mushrooms
  • 200 ml Vegetable stock
  • 100 ml Cream
  • 1 TL Guar gum flour

Preparation (10 steps)

Chop onions

Add 100g onions to the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 5.

Mix onions, mustard, celery and spices

Put the chopped onions from the mixing bowl into a bowl. Add 1 tsp mustard, 1/2 tsp celery salt, salt and pepper and mix well.

Prepare ground meat

Put 500g ground meat in a separate bowl and add the onion mixture. Mix well and form small meatballs.

Fry meatballs

Fry the formed meatballs in a separate pan with some oil on all sides until golden brown. Then remove from the pan and set aside.

Chop onions and garlic

Add 100g onions and 1 clove of garlic to the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 5. If necessary, push down from the edge with the spatula.

Sauté onions and garlic

Add 20g oil to the chopped onions and garlic in the mixing bowl and sauté for 3 min./120°C/speed 1.

Add and sauté mushrooms

Add 250g mushrooms, sliced, to the mixing bowl and sauté for 3 min./120°C/speed 1.

Deglaze with stock and cream

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/194°F/Speed 2 194°F

Add 200ml vegetable stock and 100ml cream to the mixing bowl and simmer for 5 min./90°C/speed 2.

Thicken sauce

Thermomix® Setting
1 min/194°F/Speed 3 194°F

Add 1 tsp guar gum flour to the mixing bowl and stir in for 1 min./90°C/speed 3 to thicken the sauce.

Add and heat meatballs

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/194°F/Linkslauf Speed 1 194°F Reverse

Add the fried meatballs to the mixing bowl and heat for 5 min./90°C/reverse speed 1. Season with salt and pepper.
