Description

This cake with crumbs and strawberry-chocolate filling is a delicious dessert for special occasions. The combination of juicy dough, fresh strawberries, chocolate and crunchy crumbs makes it a true pleasure. The preparation takes about 75 minutes. The recipe is designed for a cake pan.

Ingredients (13 ingredients)

  • 3 Stück Eggs
  • 1 Tasse Sugar
  • 1 TL Vanilla extract
  • 3 EL Margarine
  • 250 ml Milk
  • 2 Tasse Wheat flour
  • 1 EL Baking powder
  • 8 EL Wheat flour
  • 8 EL Sugar
  • 1 EL Margarine
  • Fresh strawberries
  • Strawberry jam (jelly)
  • Chocolate (whole milk or dark)

Preparation (6 steps)

Mix eggs, sugar and vanilla extract

Add 3 eggs, 1 cup of sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract to the mixing bowl and stir for 20 sec./level 4.

Add margarine and milk

Add 3 tablespoons of margarine and 250 ml of milk to the mixing bowl and stir for 10 sec./level 3.

Add flour and baking powder

Add 2 cups of wheat flour and 1 tablespoon of baking powder to the mixing bowl and stir for 20 sec./level 4. Use a spatula to push the ingredients away from the edge.

Prepare the crumbs

Add 8 tablespoons of wheat flour, 8 tablespoons of sugar and 1 tablespoon of margarine to the mixing bowl and mix for 15 sec./level 4 until crumbs are formed.

Preheat oven and assemble cake

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease a cake pan and dust with flour. Place the dough in the mold. Cut fresh strawberries into slices and spread on the dough. Add strawberry jam (jelly) on top. Chop chocolate (whole milk or dark) and spread it on the cake as well. Finally, sprinkle the crumbs over it.

Bake cake

Bake the cake in the preheated oven at 180°C for approx. 30-40 minutes, or until golden brown. Do a stick test.
