Description

These stewed lentils with vegetables are a comforting and nutritious dish, perfect for cold days. Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 1 cup lentils
  • 2 piece potatoes
  • 1 trozo pumpkin
  • 0.5 cup rice
  • 1 piece onion
  • 1 pinch color pepper
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 chorrito oil
  • 1 pinch pepper

Preparation (5 steps)

Soaking the lentils

Soak 1 cup of lentils in water overnight. The next day, drain and discard the soaking water.

Fried onion

Add a splash of oil to the Thermomix bowl. Add 1 diced onion and sauté for 3 Min./120°C/Stufe 1.

Cooking the lentils

Add the drained lentils to the Thermomix bowl. Add boiling water to cover the lentils. Season with salt to taste, color pepper and pepper. Program 10 Min./100°C/Stufe 1.

Add the vegetables

15 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Add 1 to 2 diced potatoes and 1 piece of pumpkin to the Thermomix bowl. Program 15 Min./100°C/Stufe 1.

Incorporate the rice

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Add approximately half a cup of rice to the Thermomix bowl. Program 5 Min./100°C/Stufe 1 or until the rice is cooked.
