Description

Linzer cookies from the Thermomix® are a festive pastry with flour, butter, hazelnuts and red currant jam. These nut cookies are ideal for the Christmas season and as a sweet finger food. The preparation takes a total of 120 minutes, the active working time is about 45 minutes. The recipe yields a corresponding amount of cookies. Perfect for anyone who loves classic Christmas cookies.

Ingredients (7 ingredients)

  • 450 g Flour
  • 150 g Powdered sugar
  • 375 g Butter (soft)
  • 300 g Ground hazelnuts
  • 3 tbsp Cocoa
  • Red currant jam
  • Powdered sugar

Preparation (8 steps)

Beat butter and powdered sugar until creamy

Add butter (soft) and powdered sugar to the mixing bowl and beat until creamy.

Mix and stir in dry ingredients

Add flour, ground hazelnuts, cinnamon, clove, cardamom and cocoa and stir in.

Knead crumbly mixture into a dough

Knead the resulting crumbly mixture into a dough.

Roll out and cut out dough

Roll out the dough between baking paper approx. 3-4 mm thick and cut out bases and lids.

Bake cookies

Place bases and lids on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven.

Decorate cookies

Sprinkle lids with powdered sugar and put red currant jam on the hot bases and put lids on top.

Prepare jam

Red currant jam, Nutella and pistachio cream spread with sugar and store

Processing

Do not put the mixture in the refrigerator, works great
