Description

This dish of creamy oats with sausages and tomato sauce is a real comforting treat, perfect for autumn evenings. The oats, cooked to perfection in the Thermomix®, become incredibly smooth and flavorful. The sausages, browned and topped with homemade tomato sauce, provide a gourmet and slightly tangy touch. I love preparing this dish because it is simple, quick and always appreciated by the whole family. Feel free to add a few fresh basil leaves for an extra touch of freshness. A complete and balanced dish, ideal for a convivial lunch or dinner.

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 4 c Sausage
  • 1 verre(s) Oats
  • 1 noix Butter
  • 25 cl Tomato sauce
  • 1 cube(s) Miso
  • to taste Basil
  • to taste Pepper
  • to taste Salt

Preparation (6 steps)

Oat cooking

Thermomix® Setting
3 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Put the oats in the Thermomix bowl. Add the butter, salt and pepper. Heat for 3 Min./100°C/Stufe 1.

Adding water and miso

Thermomix® Setting
10 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Add 250 ml of water and a cube of miso into the Thermomix bowl. Cook for 10 Min./100°C/Stufe 1. Add water if needed during cooking.

Sausage preparation

Meanwhile, cook the sausages in a pan with a little butter and oil. Prick the sausages and season with salt, pepper and basil.

Adding the tomato sauce

When the sausages are golden brown, pour the tomato sauce over them, mix and adjust the seasoning. Let simmer a little.

Final mixture

Pour the cooked oats into the pan with the sausages and tomato sauce. Add a little oat cooking water if needed. Simmer over low heat for 8 Min./keine/Sanftrührstufe.

Serve hot with fresh basil leaves.
