Description

This baked chicory with ham from the Thermomix® is a gluten-free and quick main course for the winter season. In addition to chicory and cooked ham, cream and Parmesan provide a creamy sauce, topped with grated cheese. The bake is ready in 35 minutes, the working time is about 15 minutes. The recipe is ideal for light cuisine and as a family meal. It yields 4 servings.

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 500 g Chicory
  • 4 Scheiben Cooked Ham
  • 200 g Cooking Cream
  • 50 g Parmesan, grated
  • 30 g Cheese, grated (e.g. Gouda)
  • 1 TL Salt
  • 1 Prise Pepper
  • 1000 g Water

Prepare chicory

Thermomix® Setting
10 min/212°F/Speed 1, 5 min/212°F/Speed 1 212°F

Put 1000 g water into the mixing bowl and heat for 10 min./100°C/speed 1. Add 1 tsp salt. Remove the stalk from the chicory and pre-cook in the mixing bowl for 5 min./100°C/speed 1. Drain the chicory and pat dry.

Prepare sauce

Thermomix® Setting

Put 200 g cream and 50 g Parmesan in the mixing bowl and stir for 1 min./90°C/speed 2. Season with salt and pepper.

Fill and bake chicory

Wrap the chicory in the slices of ham and place in a baking dish. Pour the sauce over the chicory. Sprinkle with 30 g grated cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C top/bottom heat for 20 minutes.
