Description

This braised beef with white wine is a comforting and tasty dish, perfect for autumn or winter evenings. The meat, melting and fragrant, is simmered in an aromatic dry white wine, which gives it a unique flavor. I like to prepare this dish for special occasions, as it is always very popular. The preparation is simple thanks to the Thermomix®, which allows you to control the cooking and obtain a smooth sauce. Feel free to add some seasonal vegetables to accompany this dish, such as carrots or mushrooms. A real treat!

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • Bouquet garni
  • Water
  • to taste Salt or fine salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 0.5 bouteille Dry white wine
  • Butter
  • 1 piece Onion (large)
  • 6 morceaux Beef

Preparation (4 steps)

Chop onion

Put the onion (large) in the bowl and chop 3 Sec./Level 5.

Brown beef

Melt the butter in a pan and brown the 6 pieces of beef on all sides. Set aside.

White wine and seasoning

Thermomix® Setting

Add the chopped onion to the bowl, then add the dry white wine, water, salt, pepper and bouquet garni. Mix 5 Sec./Level 3.

180 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Add the seared pieces of beef to the bowl. Cook 180 Min./100°C/Level 1.
