Description

I love making fresh pasta myself! This pasta dough is the perfect base for all types of pasta, from spaghetti to ravioli. The preparation is a bit time-consuming, but the result is incomparable. The dough becomes wonderfully smooth and is great to work with. Of course, the pasta tastes best freshly cooked with a delicious sauce. A great project for a cozy Sunday and a treat for the whole family! If you like, you can also add fresh herbs to the dough.

Ingredients (3 ingredients)

  • 125 g Wheat flour Type 405
  • 125 g Durum wheat semolina
  • 1 piece Egg(s)

Mix ingredients

Add 125 g wheat flour Type 405, 125 g durum wheat semolina and 1 egg to the mixing bowl and knead into a dough for 2 min./kneading stage.

Shape and rest the dough

Remove the dough from the mixing bowl, form into a ball and wrap in cling film. Then refrigerate for at least 60 minutes.

Process dough

After the resting time, roll out the dough in portions (approx. 80-100 g) into thin sheets using a pasta machine. Fold the dough several times and pass it through the machine until it is smooth.

Shape pasta

Cut or shape the rolled-out dough sheets into noodles as desired. Place the finished pasta on a rack or kitchen towel until ready to use.

Cook pasta

Bring plenty of water to a boil in a pot and salt generously. Add the pasta and cook for 2-3 minutes, depending on the thickness.
