Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 1 piece chicken in pieces
  • 350 gramos bomba rice
  • 1 piece medium onion
  • 1 trozo green and red pepper
  • 2 dientes garlics
  • 1 litro chicken broth
  • 4 hebras saffron or powdered
  • 5 cucharadas soperas crushed tomato
  • 1 chorro oil
  • 1 pinch salt

The crushed tomato adds acidity and body to the broth, intensifying the overall flavour of the dish. And, of course, saffron, the jewel in the crown, which not only gives it a beautiful golden colour, but also an unmistakable aroma and a slightly bitter flavour that balances the sweetness of the other ingredients. To prepare this rice in the Thermomix, it is crucial to respect the cooking times. The vegetable sofrito should be made at high temperature so that they caramelise and release all their flavour.
