Description

This poppy seed cake, prepared in the Thermomix®, combines flour, poppy seeds, cinnamon and eggs to create a juicy cake classic. Ideal for breakfast or dessert, it is quick and easy to bake. The preparation time is approx. 50 minutes, the active working time only 15 minutes. The recipe is perfect for anyone looking for an uncomplicated cake for festive occasions or everyday life.

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 1.5 Tassen Flour
  • 0.75 Tassen Sugar
  • 1 Päckchen Baking powder
  • 1 Tasse Ground poppy seeds
  • 1 TL Ground cinnamon
  • 1 Tasse Milk
  • 0.25 Tasse Oil
  • 2 Stück Whole eggs

Preparation (3 steps)

Mix dry ingredients

Add flour, sugar, baking powder, ground poppy seeds and ground cinnamon to the mixing bowl and mix.

Add and mix liquid ingredients

Add milk, oil and eggs to the dry ingredients in the mixing bowl and mix well.

Bake batter

Pour the batter into a greased and floured pan and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 30-40 minutes. Do a toothpick test.
