Description

This Bundt cake is a delicious cake that is ideal for autumn. It contains almonds, poppy seeds, pumpkin seeds and carrots. Preparation takes about 60 minutes and the difficulty is medium. Perfect for brunch or birthdays.

Ingredients (14 ingredients)

  • 70 g Butter
  • 80 g Icing sugar
  • 1 Stück Vanilla sugar
  • Orange peel
  • nach Geschmack Cinnamon
  • 2 Stück Egg yolks
  • 20 g Grated almonds
  • 100 g Ground poppy seeds
  • 80 g Prepared pumpkin seeds
  • 30 g Chocolate sprinkles
  • 70 g Grated, squeezed carrots
  • 70 g Flour
  • 0.5 TL Baking powder
  • 2 Stück Egg white snow

Stir butter, icing sugar, vanilla sugar, orange peel and cinnamon

70g butter, 80g icing sugar, 1 vanilla sugar, orange peel and a pinch of cinnamon into the mixing bowl and 2 min./speed 3 stir.

Stir egg yolks until frothy

Add 2 egg yolks and 1 min./speed 4 stir until frothy.

Add almonds, poppy seeds, pumpkin seeds and chocolate sprinkles

Add 20g grated almonds, 100g ground poppy seeds, 80g prepared pumpkin seeds and 30g chocolate sprinkles to the mixing bowl and stir in 30 sec./speed 3.

Add grated carrots and flour

Add 70g grated, squeezed carrots, 70g flour and 1/2 tsp baking powder to the mixing bowl and stir in briefly for 30 sec./speed 3.

Fold in beaten egg whites

Carefully fold in 2 egg white snow with the spatula.

Baking

Pour the dough into a Bundt cake pan and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C top/bottom heat for about 30 minutes.
