Description
These Shortcrust Pastry Cookies with Marzipan and Walnuts are a delicious pastry for the Christmas season. The dough is quickly prepared in the Thermomix® and the cookies are easy to decorate. Ideal as finger food or dessert for festive occasions.
Ingredients (6 ingredients)

160 g Flour

100 g Butter

60 g Sugar

1 Prise Salt

1 Stück Egg yolk

112 Stück Walnuts
Preparation (5 steps)
Mix ingredients
Put flour, butter, sugar, salt and egg yolk into the mixing bowl and process into a dough for 2 minutes/kneading stage.
Roll out and cut out the dough
Roll out the dough on a floured work surface and cut out circles.
Bake cookies
Place the cut-out circles on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 160°C circulating air until golden brown.
Cut out marzipan circles
Cut out circles from marzipan.
Assemble and decorate cookies
Assemble the baked cookies with jam, top with marzipan circles and decorate with 112 walnuts.
