Description

This simple and fragrant summer dessert is a real treat! Nectarines and apricots roasted with sweet spices like cinnamon and vanilla, enhanced with a hint of black pepper, offer an explosion of flavors. I often prepare this dish for a Sunday brunch or a festive dinner. The sweetness of the caramelized fruits goes perfectly with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It is a light and fruity dessert, perfect for ending a meal in style. The preparation is quick and easy, ideal for beginner cooks. A real delight!

Ingredients (11 ingredients)

  • 4 piece Nectarines
  • 8 piece Apricots
  • 2 bâton Cinnamon sticks
  • 4 piece Star anise
  • 4 feuilles Bay leaf
  • 1 clove Vanilla bean
  • 2 c. à soupe Liquid honey
  • 2 zeste Oranges
  • 1 c. à soupe Brown sugar
  • 20 g Sweet butter
  • 3 tour Black pepper

Preparation (5 steps)

Preparation of spices

Break the cinnamon sticks into two or three pieces and put them in the Thermomix bowl. Add the star anise and bay leaves. Cut the vanilla bean in half lengthwise and scrape the seeds with the back of a knife, add the seeds and the emptied pod into the bowl containing the spices.

Mixing liquid ingredients

Add the liquid honey, orange zest, brown sugar and black pepper to the Thermomix bowl. Mix well.

Preparation of fruits

Cut the nectarines and apricots in half and pit them. Place them skin side down in a shallow baking dish.

Coating the fruits

Pour the spiced sauce prepared in the Thermomix over the fruit in the baking dish. Sprinkle the fruit with small pieces of butter.

Baking

Preheat the oven to 200°C. Bake for 15 minutes, basting with the juice every 5 minutes.
