Description

These fruit skewers with melting chocolate are a simple and elegant delight, perfect for a light dessert or a delicious snack. I love preparing this recipe because it's always a hit with children and adults alike. The freshness of the fruits, like banana, kiwi, pineapple and apple, goes wonderfully with the richness of the melted chocolate. The little touch of vanilla in the syrup brings a subtle fragrant note. Easy to make with the Thermomix®, this recipe is ideal for a special occasion or simply to treat yourself. Feel free to vary the fruits according to your desires and the season!

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 1 piece Banana
  • 1 piece Kiwi
  • 1 piece Pineapple
  • 1 piece Apple
  • 150 g Granulated sugar
  • 15 cl Water
  • 1 clove Vanilla
  • 150 g Chocolate

Preparation (8 steps)

Fruit preparation

Wash, peel and cut the banana, kiwis, pineapple and apples into large pieces. Set aside.

Assembly of skewers

Using long skewers, prick the fruits, alternating them one by one. Set aside.

Preparation of vanilla syrup

Cut the vanilla pod in half and remove the seeds. Put the water, sugar and vanilla seeds in the Thermomix bowl. Also add the vanilla pod.

Syrup cooking

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Boil the syrup by setting the Thermomix to 5 Min./100°C/Stufe 1.

Syrup infusion

Remove the vanilla pod. Pour the syrup into a gratin dish, place the skewers and pour the syrup over them. Let it marinate for an hour, turning the skewers from time to time.

Steam cooking

Thermomix® Setting
15 min/Varoma/Speed 1 Varoma

Place the marinated skewers in the Varoma. Pour 500 ml of water into the Thermomix bowl. Steam for 15 Min./Varoma/Stufe 1.

Preparation of melted chocolate

Thermomix® Setting
3 min/122°F/Speed 2 50

Meanwhile, break the chocolate into pieces and put it in the Thermomix bowl. Melt the chocolate for 3 Min./50°C/Stufe 2.

Service

Remove the skewers from the Varoma and pour the melted chocolate over the skewers. Serve immediately.
