Description

Delicious seeded bread baked in an air fryer.

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 20 g Sunflower seeds
  • 20 g Pumpkin seeds
  • 15 g Linseed
  • 300 g Wheat flour, type 700
  • 200 g Water, lukewarm
  • 7 g Yeast, fresh
  • 6 g Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Honey

Preparation (13 steps)

Roast sunflower and pumpkin seeds

Roast sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds in a pan without fat until they are lightly browned and fragrant. Set aside.

Sauté linseed

Add linseed to the roasted seeds and sauté briefly. Set aside.

Prepare dough

Add wheat flour, water, fresh yeast, salt and honey to the mixing bowl.

Knead dough

Insert Patix dough knife. Knead the dough for 2 minutes on the kneading setting.

Knead in seeds

Add the roasted sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds and linseed to the dough and briefly knead on reverse speed 2.

Let dough rest

Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover and let rest at room temperature for 60-90 minutes, until the dough has risen significantly.

Shape dough

Place the dough on a lightly floured surface and carefully shape it into an oblong or round shape, being careful not to squeeze the air out.

Prepare bread

Line a baking pan or the air fryer basket with baking paper and place the loaf of bread in it.

Cut the surface

Cut the surface lengthwise and spray with water.

Let dough rise

Cover and let rise again at room temperature for 30-45 minutes.

Bake bread

Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C and bake the bread for 25-30 minutes. Do a tap test: if the underside sounds hollow, the bread is ready.

If necessary, turn the bread over and bake briefly again so that the underside becomes crispy as well.

Let cool

Remove and let cool on a wire rack.
