Description

This hearty bread is a protein-rich and satisfying dish, ideal for a hearty breakfast or as a side dish to the main course. It is easy to prepare and is well suited to a low-carb diet. The preparation time is about 60 minutes, and the recipe is designed for one serving. Enjoy this bread with a variety of spreads or simply pure.

Ingredients (11 ingredients)

  • 2 EL Pumpkin seeds
  • 1 Ock. Baking powder
  • 250 g Low fat curd cheese
  • Sunflower seeds
  • Chia seeds
  • 100 g Ground almonds
  • 2 EL Wholemeal spelt flour
  • 1 TL Salt
  • 100 g Ground flaxseed
  • 2 EL Chia seeds
  • 2 EL Sunflower seeds

Preparation (4 steps)

Mix dry ingredients

Put 100g ground almonds, 2 tbsp wholemeal spelt flour, 1 tsp salt, 100g ground flaxseed, 2 tbsp chia seeds and 2 tbsp sunflower seeds into the mixing bowl and mix for 10 sec./speed 3.

Add moist ingredients

Add 2 tbsp pumpkin seeds, 1 package baking powder, 250g low fat curd cheese and 6 egg whites to the dry ingredients in the mixing bowl and knead for 2 min./kneading setting with the Patix dough knife.

Shape and sprinkle dough

Remove the dough from the mixing bowl, shape into a loaf of bread and sprinkle with some sunflower seeds and chia seeds.

Bake bread

Place the loaf of bread on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C top/bottom heat for approx. 40 minutes.
