Description

This loaf bread is a simple and hearty bread that is ideal for breakfast. It is made with spelt or whole wheat flour, nuts and seeds and baked in the oven. Preparation is easy and the baking time is 60 minutes. The bread is vegetarian and can be refined with seeds and grains as desired.

Ingredients (6 ingredients)

  • 500 ml Water
  • 1 Beutel Dry Yeast
  • 500 g Spelt or Whole Wheat Flour
  • 150 g Nuts and Seeds
  • 1 TL Salt
  • 2 EL Apple Cider Vinegar or Balsamic Vinegar

Preparation (8 steps)

Prepare loaf pan

Grease a loaf pan.

Dissolve yeast

Dissolve the yeast in the water.

Mix ingredients

Add 500 ml water with dissolved yeast, 1 packet of dry yeast, 500 g spelt or whole wheat flour, 150 g nuts and seeds, 1 tsp salt and 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar or balsamic vinegar to the mixing bowl.

Knead dough

Replace the standard blade with the Patix dough blade. Knead the dough for 2 min./knead setting.

Let dough rise (optional)

Thermomix® Setting
99°F/30 min/Speed 1 99°F

If desired, let the dough rise now. However, this is not mandatory.

Put dough in pan

Put the dough in the greased loaf pan.

Top bread (optional)

If desired, add a few more seeds and grains to the bread.

Bake bread

Bake in the oven at 200 °C top/bottom heat (without preheating) for 60 minutes.
