Description

This easy recipe for carrot rolls is quick to prepare and ideal for a hearty breakfast or as finger food. The rolls are prepared with the Thermomix® and left to rise overnight. After baking, they are light and aromatic. Perfect for anyone looking for a simple and delicious baking idea.

Preparation (6 steps)

Prepare yeast

Thermomix® Setting

Add water and yeast to the mixing bowl and mix for 2 min./37°C/speed 1.

Prepare carrots

Peel the carrots. Place the Wundermix WunderSlicer V2 on the mixing bowl lid and select the fine slice. Feed the carrots through the slicer and collect the cut material.

Prepare the dough

3 min/Kneading speed

Add the prepared carrots and olive oil to the mixing bowl. Add all other ingredients and process into a dough for 3 min./kneading stage.

Dough resting

Let the dough rest overnight at room temperature, covered with cling film.

Shape rolls

Using a wet spoon, cut off portions of the dough and roll in seeds.

Baking

Place the dough portions on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 210°C (top/bottom heat) for 25-30 minutes. Do not knead the dough after the resting phase.
