Description

Prepare hearty meatloaf rolls for 4 servings in just 30 minutes with the Thermomix®. This simple recipe combines meatloaf, gherkins, and fried onions in crispy pretzel rolls. Ideal as a quick main course, finger food for parties, or for a hearty treat in between. Preparation is inexpensive and requires only a few ingredients. A savory bread dish for meat lovers and hungry guests.

Ingredients (12 ingredients)

  • 4 Stück Lettuce leaves
  • 1 Stück large gherkin
  • 4 Scheiben Meatloaf
  • 150 g Meatloaf
  • 2 EL Lard
  • 4 Stück Pretzel rolls
  • 150 g Coleslaw
  • 4 EL Fried onions
  • 100 g Sweet mustard
  • 1 EL Plain yogurt
  • nach Geschmack Salt
  • nach Geschmack Pepper

Preparation (4 steps)

Prepare mustard-yogurt dressing

Thermomix® Setting

Place 100 g sweet mustard and 1 tbsp plain yogurt in the mixing bowl and mix for 10 sec/speed 3. Season with salt and pepper.

Prepare lettuce and gherkin

Wash 4 lettuce leaves and spin dry. Drain 150 g coleslaw in a sieve. Cut 1 large gherkin lengthwise into slices.

Fry the meatloaf

Heat 2 tbsp lard in a pan and fry 4 slices of meatloaf (150 g each) for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Then remove from the pan and set aside.

Assemble the rolls

Cut open 4 pretzel rolls and spread the cut surfaces with the prepared mustard-yogurt cream. Top the bottom half with lettuce leaves, cucumber slices, fried meatloaf, coleslaw and 4 tbsp fried onions. Fold the rolls together and serve.
