Description

This recipe is for the dough of Medovik, a popular honey cake. The dough is prepared with eggs, sugar, butter, honey, baking soda, and flour. The preparation takes about 30 minutes and is moderately difficult. Ideal for festive occasions or as a sweet dessert.

  • 280 g Sugar
  • 200 g Butter
  • 5 EL Honey
  • 1 TL Baking soda
  • 750 g Flour

Mix eggs and sugar

Add 5 pieces of eggs and 280 g of sugar to the mixing bowl and mix for 2 min./level 4.

Add 200 g of butter and 5 tbsp of honey to the mixing bowl and mix for 5 min./50°C/level 2.

Add baking soda and flour

Add 1 tsp of baking soda and approx. 750 g of flour to the mixing bowl and knead for 2 min./kneading level.
