Ingredients (13 ingredients)

200 g soft butter

200 g marzipan paste

120 g sugar

3 Stück medium eggs

3 Tropfen bitter almond flavor

1 TL vanilla sugar

200 g spelt flour
-
50 g cornstarch
-
3 TL cream of tartar baking powder

2 Stück apple, tart, finely diced

1 Prise salt

1 Prise cinnamon

Preparation (7 steps)
Cream butter, sugar and salt until fluffy
Place the soft butter, sugar, vanilla sugar and salt in the mixing bowl and mix for 3 minutes/speed 3 until fluffy.
Stir in eggs
Add the eggs and mix for 20 seconds/speed 4.
Add marzipan paste and bitter almond flavor
Add the marzipan paste in pieces and bitter almond flavor and mix for 20 seconds/speed 4.
Mix dry ingredients and stir in
Mix spelt flour, cornstarch and cream of tartar baking powder, add to the mixing bowl and stir in for 30 seconds/speed 3.
Fold in apple pieces
Add the apple pieces and carefully fold in with a spatula.
Bake batter
Pour the batter into a greased cake tin and bake in a preheated oven at 160°C convection for approx. 70 minutes.
Decorate cake
After cooling, dust with powdered sugar.
