Description

These rustic baked potatoes with spices are a delicious and easy-to-prepare side dish, perfect for any occasion! The combination of paprika, cumin, oregano, thyme and garlic powder gives it a unique and aromatic flavor that perfectly complements the crispy texture of the potatoes. I often prepare them to accompany grilled meats or simply as a tasty snack. The key is to wash the potatoes well and cut them into wedges of the same size so that they cook evenly. Go ahead and try them, you'll love them! In addition, they are a vegetarian option and can be easily adapted to a vegan diet.

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 3 piece Potatoes
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 0.5 tsp Ground cumin
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1 pinch Thyme
  • 1 pinch Garlic powder
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Ground black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • 500 ml Water

Preparation (6 steps)

Initial preparation of the potatoes

Wash the potatoes with skin very well. Preheat the oven to 190°C. Cut the potatoes in half and then into wedges of the same size.

Precooking the potatoes in the Thermomix

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/212°F/Velocidad 1 100

Place 500 ml of water in the Thermomix bowl. Introduce the potatoes into the basket. Program 5 Min./100°C/Speed 1.

Drain and reserve the potatoes

Remove the basket with the potatoes and drain well. Set aside.

Spice mix

In a bowl, mix 1 tsp of paprika, ½ tsp of ground cumin, 1 tsp of oregano, 1 pinch of thyme, 1 pinch of garlic powder, 1 pinch of salt and 1 pinch of ground black pepper. Add 2 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil and stir well.

Impregnate the potatoes with the spices

Add the potato wedges to the bowl with the spices and, with your hands, stir so that they are perfectly impregnated evenly.

Bake the potatoes

Place the potatoes on a baking tray and bake for about 30 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
